southcarolinamom
I've searched a few websites - has anyone actually bought their child a homeschool class ring, where did you buy it from, and were you pleased with the quality? My husband and I are considering honoring this request from my son - if we can do it financially, we'd like to this year. I'm just asking for recommendations for sources from pleased parents! Thanks! angela in ohio
We haven't bought one yet, but we are getting dd one for her 15th birthday. We are going through a local jeweler, but the rings are from ArtCarved. A woman in our local HS group recommended this one in a recent conversation: Jostens Homeschool Page. Two other ladies recommended Wal-mart: class rings.
Quiver0f10
Wal-Mart also carries class rings. Juts a thought for a less expensive option.
Alyce
They're less expensive than most places and you can have your homeschool name put on it for a small fee. I like them because not only can you choose what goes on the sides, they come with a lifetime guarantee and free ring sizes for life. You do have to send the ring back to the company to get repairs and sizing done. We had to do this with my son's ring. I bought him a silver one and he was playing football, with his ring on, and got slammed to the ground and crushed the ring. We sent it back to the company and had it back in new shape in about 2 weeks. I would recommend getting the gold. We got that for dd. I thought I had ordered the white gold but apparently I hit the wrong button when I was ordering it. Didn't know my mistake for months so it was too late to return and get the gold one. The rings are beautiful and well done. My kids love them especially since they were able to get the name of our homeschool put on them. We looked at Wal-Mart and they were okay but you had no choice about name. Their rings all say homeschool on top and they weren't any cheaper. http://www.dunham-mfg.com/
