Melinda S in TX
We're looking for a Spanish program. Can anyone compare Rosetta Stone, Tell Me More by Auralog, and Rocket Languages Spanish? This will be for 13dd, 10dd, and 7.9ds. Are there any other recommendations? Melinda
mittmaman
Hi Melinda! I can't really compare the programs you mention but still wanted to let you know that I LOVE, LOVE,LOVE Rosetta Stone! Our kids had to catch up in English quickly and RS worked wonders. The program really is quite sophisticated. There is a learning curve if you want to get out all you can from it...but it certainly is worth it. Their customer support is awsome, too, very helpful in setting the program up exactly the way that is most effective for each individual student. My kids are 4, 6 and 8 and are all doing completely different exercises each day (and are still on the same Unit and Lesson...). HTH! nmoira
I'm really enjoying Learnables Spanish. My daughter and I are each about to start Level 2. It would be suitable for that age spread (though the 8yo might need a bit of supervision). I tried and failed with Rosetta Stone, nothing would stick even though I could unfailingly choose the right boxes.
