lotsofpumpkins
A few months ago I was reading up on the Robinson Curriculum, and heard from somewhere that the older Saxon math textbooks are better for self-learning for the student than the newer edition, plus they are hardback, which is nice. I bought all 2nd editions, and have from 54 up through Algebra 2. Thing is, I LOVE CLE math, and plan to continue using it as long as I can. I'm no longer really trying to jump on the RC bandwagon, and don't necessarily plan on using these Saxon books, unless we HAVE to for financial reasons. Part of me wants to keep them "just in case", but without teacher's manuals, tests, etc, I would have a lot of extra work on my hands! Right now I'm in the nesting/decluttering part of pregnancy, and part of me really wants to get rid of these books. Even though I probably couldn't get a lot for them, every bit helps. WWYD? Keep or sell?
Chris in VA
Sell. Some of the 2nd editions are no longer recognized as adequate.

Well, if that's the case, then I don't think I want to keep them around, even for a "just in case" situation! :)
