What Childrens Bible would you recommend for a almost 7 year old & 6 year old.

I have had a couple of people recommend the ESV childrens Bible. I was wondering if anyone has used this with their children and what you would recommend. I am looking for a Childrens Bible that has easy of use and understand. If you could please include links to what Bible your children have and or any other thought. Thanks Susan

We use this one, my youngest are 7 and 9 but we have used it with them for a couple of years. It is the NIrV, which is the NIV version for young readers.

I loved the Catherine Vos Child's Story Bible. It is a great read aloud. There were a couple interpretations in there that didn't jive with us theologically, so I glossed over them. But, otherwise, it helped my children have a stronger knowledge of the characters of the Bible.

My kids have ICB. It was recommended by our Children's Minister.

 

My children both wanted a "real" Bible with all of the words. They both seem to understand it pretty well too.

We've been really happy reading Egermeier's this year. Perfect amount of detail for my 6yo.
