curlygirlzx2
The AG suggests The Kingfisher Illustrated History of the World, The Kingfisher History Encyclopedia, The Usborne Book of World History, and The Usborne Internet-Linked Encyclopedia of World History. I was just planning on getting The Usborne Internet-Linked Encyclopedia of World History. Will that be enough? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Elfinlady
You should be fine with just the Usborne. I ended up with that and the Kingfisher Encyclopedia of World History. I've only had the Kingfisher for a few days, but it seems more geared to children who are a bit older. My DD is about to turn 9, and I don't think I'd use it with her if she was any younger. Laura Corin
With a six year old, I would just use the Usborne Internet-Linked, plus some historical fiction. I added in An Island Story for the later sections, but that's because I wanted to put in more British history. Laura
