Guest Barb B
DS so far has one school that wants course descriptions. My question is - do I send it to the others too. My inclination was not to send it unless it is asked for. But I really don't know. Thanks for all the help! I can't wait until this college application stuff is done! Brigid in NC
If you've done all the work (and it IS a lot of work!), I'd send the course descriptions to all. That's what we did. The one-page transcript and multi-page course descriptions were clipped together as a package. It makes a nice presentation. :001_smile:
Kareni
I agree with Brigid. For my daughter, I made up a transcript, school profile, course descriptions, counselor letter and reading/textbook list. I sent the package to all of the colleges to which my daughter applied even those that did not specifically request some of those items. Cedarmom
However, some colleges ask specifically not to send extra info. So, read the application and see what they ask. If they say no, I wouldn't send it.
