Guest KaciMI
Are they worth buying in preparation of the SATs? Thanks, K
Tullia
They were helpful for us, but my son was struggling with math because he works slowly, and we were "out of optimum sequence" for the PSAT/SAT so YMMV. I've heard good things about it from others on these boards--you might try a search to see what others say. The review sessions have quite a few examples where the presenter says, "You may have been taught to work problems like this....., but to save time on the test you should streamline the process in this way..." KnitWit
My dd had all A's in math, but she still used this and said it was VERY helpful because on the SAT, you really do NOT have time to work the problem. You learn how to view the problem to be able to *anticipate* the answer.
