ladydusk
Inspired by Catholic Mommy's chart for filling in lessons and our library's summer reading program, I made a set of "reading trails" for my children to fill in when they finish a lesson in OPG. You can find them (separated by the Sections in the book) on Google Docs (Word Documents): Section 3-6, Section 7-12, Section 13-14, Section 15-16, and Section 17-21. Now my question. M-girl reads beautifully, however new multi-syllable words occasionally trip her up. We've been trudging through OPG still back in the silent consonant section ... this is not remotely challenging (or interesting) to her. I know where her difficulties are, does it make sense to skip forward to the section where the multi-syllable words starts? I had her read the review lesson immediately prior to that section and she read it with no problem. Edited July 14, 2010 by ladydusk
