I found two books this afternoon that I bought at a conference a few years back. They were stored among the books in my bedroom, not in our school bookcases. One of them was a "nice to have" book that I didn't think I could justify buying this year. The other isn't an expensive book, but that's one less book to buy and track. More frequently, I purchase a book/curriculum to cover a subject, and later discover I already had something I could have used for the same purpose.
