If you have used ZB Handwriting

I would like to use ZB Handwriting next year. Can you give me an idea of how big a book is? Lesson every day? Every other?

 

One of my children started cursive with HWOT. I'd like for him to switch to ZB. Should I go back to the 3rd grade and have him do that one first or is there enough review for him to pick it up in 4th? (he will be in the 4th grade).

A page a day (4 days a week or so) seems to last us nearly a year. Seems like maybe 120 pages or so? I tried to make the books last as my dc tended to zzzoooommmm, and I felt that was wasteful, so I tried to limit it to one page a day.

 

Each book reteaches all the letters, so surely "reviews" sufficiently. But, the 4th grade book might not include manuscript any longer, so if you need manuscript review, double check the book descriptions or ask again and someone (me?) will go to the basement and check the completed workbooks for you!

The first cursive book is 2C for second grade. I think you could jump in anywhere though. My kids finish their handwriting very quickly and can easily finish a book in less than a year. You could probably use both book 3 & 4 in a year if you wanted extra practice.
