Guest Alte Veste Academy
The ones put out by Homeschool in the Woods are beautiful, definitely my favorite. Their Timeline Helps page is very helpful, especially the part about coloring their figures (scroll way down).
fhjmom
Our local public library offers online access to the ABC CLIO history database. I am using that to make my own timeline figures by printing them on index cards. I was almost ready to purchase the HSITW CD when I stumbled across this. I decided free was better. :) BTW, this database includes images for most historical characters and events with a sentence or two that summarizes the inportant facts. I can easily add or edit whatever I want to. It is really easy, peasy to make my own. I have ended up googling a few images that it didn't have, but the text in the articles was useful for filling in the facts.
