mommy4ever Posted June 25, 2010 Share Posted June 25, 2010 I haven't increased it. Our facilitator says she has amazing penmanship and attention to the details (ie punctuation). Depending on the week, she may get both sentences at one sitting, or just one. If she is restless then I don't. But there are other times she does some writing. IF we are working on a poster, she does copy Titles, info blurbs for the pictures. Of course spelling, and maybe a sentence in History. robsiew Posted June 25, 2010 Share Posted June 25, 2010 If she can do it, I would just have her do the 2nd sentence. You may want to have her write a sentence or two in history or science as well. I think that's sufficient for 2nd grade. My 8 y/o just coming out of 2nd grade did WWE(2) this past year which stops copy work about 1/2 way through and replaces it with another dictation.
