Greta
56 grams of fat! How can that be healthy? Forgive me for sounding like a broken record. This is probably the 50th time I've recommended this book on these boards. :D But if you're interested in learning why fat really is a healthier fuel source for human metabolism than carbohydrate is, I really like Life Without Bread by Allan and Lutz. It's a fascinating read.
Jean in Newcastle
Ottakee, I think the problem is that healthy eating is a continuum. Is this healthier than chicken nuggets and fries with ketchup counting as the vegetable? Absolutely! And not only a little bit healthier but a whole lot healthier. Is it as healthy as a salad chock-full of vegetables, some lean meat or other protein and some whole grains? No - but I would put it a lot closer on the continuum to this meal than the chicken nugget one. If I was analyzing this meal to see how it could be healthier (which is how I understood the main question btw) I could see ways to improve it. But I would not turn you into Jamie Oliver or any other food police;)
