April in CA Posted May 28, 2010 Share Posted May 28, 2010 Good Evening, Everybody! Has anyone here used Thinkwell's Algebra 2 course? My son and I tend to butt heads on math more than anything else (he will be 16 in a few weeks) and I need a way to get him through Algebra 2 as painlessly as possible. If you have used this program, how long per day did your student spend on it, and how long did it take him/her to complete the program? Were there any problems with answers not being correct (typos or other errata)? My older son is doing quite well with Thinkwell's Calculus, so I am hopeful that Alg 2 would work as well! If I'd realized how much of a pain she was going to be to work with this year, I'd have done Thinkwell Precalculus with her so I could get out of the picture completely. The previous year was fabulous because she used Kinetic Books Algebra II and I didn't have to be involved except to check the end-of-unit problems. KB doesn't have precalculus yet.
