Orthodox6
What about the free will of those that are not Christian? I'm sorry, it just really bothers me that even though there is so much disagreement within the various beliefs of Christianity itself, it is still supposedly the "only true way" to God and everybody else needs saving.. so we can then just all disagree about the same religion together I suppose. I, personally, find the effort put in to converting people from any country or of any religion a disgraceful practice. Every single person possesses free will which must be respected. Nothing that I wrote contradicts that. Read what I wrote more carefully. Thanks ! :) P.S. I see what bothered you. You skipped over what immediately preceded the line you chose: Our children are taught to take people as they are, where they are. Change for anybody is voluntary, and usually comes slowly. We do not attempt to force our beliefs on anybody else, and that also is a core practice of our Orthodox faith. We try to make Christ available, if someone freely wishes to listen, which is 100% different from clobbering people over the head with Him. That unambiguously covered the entire world, Christian or not. Edited May 25, 2010 by Orthodox6
