Katiebug_1976
Ok, after several years of trying to find the perfect math program (I know there is no such thing) for ds10 I have finally decided on Teaching Textbooks. He is a very independent learner so this format is as close to perfect as I think I am going to find. Anyway, I love TT except for the lack of math drills. So I am looking for some kind of math drills to supplement with. Any ideas or suggestions? TIA
Orthodox6
Calculadders. Bare-bones, no-glitz. Just fast and effective. Buy the computer files so that you can print what you want, as often as you want. Online games, gizmo-toys, . . . they distract the student from the point. Math does not need to "be fun". In fact, I believe that when math is smothered by a game, the student loses the chance to discover the pure enjoyment inherent to math itself.
