QuirkyKapers
Has anyone used these and if so what did you think? I can't seem to find very good samples anywhere. Here is the link: http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/easy_find?Ntt=ann+staman&N=0&Ntk=keywords&action=Search&Ne=0&event=ESRCN&nav_search=1&cms=1 Thanks:) Edited May 5, 2010 by Gratefulgal

Lovedtodeath
I took a look at the descriptions and it looks like at least part of these books are based around sight reading, and "guessing" words with clues from pictures and context. I would avoid those and consider them an enemy from phonics instruction. DD was doing much better with decoding and encoding before I sent her to PS K where they used these methods. The other books look like they could be helpful. I hope you find someone who is familiar with them.
