Starting Comprehension Visually/Starting Comprehension Phoentically/Clues to Meaning

I took a look at the descriptions and it looks like at least part of these books are based around sight reading, and "guessing" words with clues from pictures and context. I would avoid those and consider them an enemy from phonics instruction. DD was doing much better with decoding and encoding before I sent her to PS K where they used these methods.

 

The other books look like they could be helpful. I hope you find someone who is familiar with them.
