mom31257 Posted April 24, 2010 Share Posted April 24, 2010 In each bedroom, there is a hamper for each person's clothes. In the laundry room, I have a 3 section sorter, 2 baskets and another hamper (we have a fairly nice size laundry room). A couple of times a week I have the kids bring me all the hampers and the towels from bathrooms/kitchens. I sort them into these categories: whites, mediums, darks, reds, towels, sheets. I usually load the laundry into the washer. Dd often takes it from the washer to put in the dryer. We all work on the folding and putting away, even dh. I usually do about 6 loads a week. We really try to stretch things here by having "around the house" clothes that we wear more than once and using towels twice. Some of us have skin issues and can't shower/bath every single day, too.
