WTMCassandra
We are thinking about cooking bacon ahead to take with us on our camping trips (we have several coming up in the next month or so). Can I freeze it after I cook it? I will have a way to warm it up (we have a new-to-us RV) when we want to eat it. Thanks, Sherrill

Thanks, Sherrill I did this last summer to have precooked bacon on hand for BLTs and I wouldn't have to heat up the house and it worked fine :)
outtamyshell
It's best to under-cook it a little before you freeze it. That way, when you thaw it in the microwave, you won't burn it.
Janasjots
I found that if you don't heat it up and just bring it to room temp for something like sandwiches, it's a bit soggier than if you'd just fried it up. So I think the slightly undercook and micro suggestion is a great idea.
