Homeschooling6
I can't find the scope & sequence at the website. I do see a sample unit. My question is, does AG teach how to add suffixes and such? I'm confused if this is taught in a grammar or spelling program. My son is using SWR but I haven't added in any of the grammar portion because I'm concentrating more on the spelling with SWR. I plan to use JAG and then AG with him. My dd grammar does add learning the suffixes and how to add them. I'm also wondering if my dd will need to continue with CLE after JAG because I'm not sure if this is taught. Thanks!
Sunshine State Sue
No, AG does not teach how to add suffixes. We completed Shurley 5 and they did do things like making nouns plural (supply->supplies). I would consider that a spelling issue not a grammar issue. It's covered thoroughly in Megawords. Thank you, I guess I better stop skipping that portion of SWR :). Blessings,
