FairProspects Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 Ds's handwriting ability has taken off recently (and I'm very happy for him). I now think he would be able to handle the copywork in WWE 1 in the fall (where previously I thought he wouldn't), but I'm also confused. Are the kids supposed to be able to read the sentences they are copying or just copy them? If so, we might need to hold off on WWE and wait for reading ability to catch up. One of the reasons for the WWE copywork is to cement grammar through application and I wouldn't think you could do that without being able to read the sentences.
