newlifemom
I was at the store today and saw some "chicken" breast tenderloins for 1/2 off. Cool! I take them home. A few hours later I take them out to make parmesan cutlets and thought they looked a little strange, but what the heck. When I pull them out of the oven and start to cut them up, they are very strange and are not cutting the way cutlets normally do. I was beginning to wonder so I pulled out the packaging from the garbage, b/c at this point I thought the sale might be b/c they were bad. The only difference I noticed [silly me] was that they were tenderloins. Ok, maybe chicken tenderloins are a different part of the breast. Still I was nervous. I don't want to serve something bad to my kids. So I go back to the garbage and look again. Turkey breast tenderloins. Oh, that make sense. Even under the gray and mousy color a blond still lurks. :tongue_smilie:
Parrothead
you should be able to use them interchangeably. The flavor will be slightly off if the recipe calls for chicken and you use turkey and vice versa.
