lionfamily1999
Do you have a picture application? Usually you can resize them in there. If there's a button to maintain proportions, make sure you click it (otherwise the picture ends up wierdly stretched).
mpcTutor
Assumption: You have Windows Vista PC (any windows should be sufficient but I am not confident about it) Steps: 1) Click start->Programs->accessories->Paint 2) In paint program Click File->Open and open the image file you want reduce. (For Avatar your original file should be square shape (y pixel by y pixel) 3) Once your image file is open, Click Image->Attribute on the menu bar of paint. Choose pixel in "units" and find what size your image is (it should be y by y). You want make that 80 by 80. Find what % reduction you will need. Note that calculated reduction and close attributes dialog box. 4) Now Click Image->Resize/Skew and change the height and width to get 80 pixel by 80 pixel size. Don't forget to save your original under different name to keep original intact. 5) Repeat above steps until you find correct size you want. Most likely, 60x60, 70x70 or 80x80 pixel^2 should look good. Best regards.
