pattimiller747
It looks like we need a graphics calculator for our next lesson in Saxon Algebra I and we will need one for Algebra 2. Any recommendations on makes, models and where to buy cheaply?
Brigid in NC
We used a TI-83 until Calculus, and then bumped up to a TI-89. Those choices worked well for us. :) ~Brigid
In The Great White North
None of them are cheap. What caused the bump up to TI-89?
Brigid in NC
It was required in the dual enrollment calculus classes that my ds took at the local community college. A very expensive calculator! But now he is using it in college, so I think we have gotten our money's worth. :001_smile: One note, the TI-89 is not allowed if your kids are taking the ACT. Just fyi. ~Brigid
