musicianmom
Has anyone used the music curriculum from BJU Press? It sounds great, but it's really expensive! Just wondering if it's a good program.
kangato3
We've used BJU Music for K-4. I've been very pleased with it, but it doesn't seem to be very popular. (I've never been able to resell it on these boards). The program is very well-rounded, teaching elements of music, note-reading, traditional children's songs, solfege singing, music appreciation etc in an age-appropriate incremental way. Even though my dc take piano, I found this program to be a good complement. It is also easy to implement for a non-music person like myself. Let me know if you have any specific questions. Also, if you're interested in purchasing used, please pm me. Louise
