He plans to major in music in college so Italian would be the best choice for him. Does anyone have any suggestions for a high school level Italian curriculum? He wants to study Italian for three years. He's not able to take a community college course until he's 16. So he wouldn't be able to until 2nd semester of 2010-2011. I heard somewhere that a 1 semester, cc course is equal to a year of high school. Is this true? If so, it wouldn't hurt him to wait until the 2nd semester of 2010-2011 to begin his studies.
