shinyhappypeople
DMIL bought this game for the girls at a yard sale, but it doesn't have the rules. The back of the box says there are 5 different ways to play. If you have this game, would you mind sharing what the rules are for the different levels? Thank you :)
Capt_Uhura
I thought I could help you out. I pulled out our game which I need to get our for my pre-Ker and what do you know, the instructions aren't in it. I will look around and see if I can find it. eight_gregorys
Is it the Go Fish version of the game? I have that one and the directions. If this is the right game, let me know and I'll scan in the directions and send them to you.
Julie in MN
Most game instructions are available online these days. Your best bet is to search the web for the parent company, such as Hasbro. Here are some links I sent my daughter recently: http://boardgames.about.com/od/rules/Rules_and_Instructions_for_Board_Games.htm http://www.hasbro.com/customer-service/toy-game-instructions.cfm http://www.boardgamecapital.com/board-game-rules.htm http://www.centralconnector.com/GAMES/GameCab.html (for other games, search using the exact name) ETA: It looks like your best bet on Briarpatch games is to e-mail the company: http://www.briarpatch.com/games-puzzles-replacement-parts.asp Edited December 27, 2009 by Julie in MN
Capt_Uhura
I've looked online and I can't find the instructions. I think my friend has it but here's my guess. 1) simply match the pieces as you would a puzzle - by shape. It's self-checking. 2) Look at the pictures on the left side (side w/ the words) and find the right half which has that picture. 3) Have DC read the words on the left side and find the matching picture on the right half cards. 4) Have an older child do it as a memory game by turning both halves of cards upside down. Can't think of a 5th way lol.
