lovinmomma
Would these be appropriate for 1st grade?
hscherger
My son loves the series. He is 8 (third grade) now, but he loved them last year too. ;) My 4 year old daughter also watches without complaint.
EmilyK
We've enjoyed it on TV, so I wanted to buy the DVDs. Any recommendations on the best place to buy? I just want the DVDs, not a curriculum package. Thanks!
Julie in MN
We've enjoyed it on TV, so I wanted to buy the DVDs. Any recommendations on the best place to buy? I just want the DVDs, not a curriculum package. Thanks! I think LibraryAndEd has the best prices on these. I haven't used them with little ones, but I imagine they'd find them fun, even if they didn't understand the geography and such. Probably by about 3rd or 4th grade, they'd be able to absorb a lot. My 8th grader still asks me to get the newest ones that come out. Julie
Mommy7
We have thoroughly enjoyed the Drive Thru History series with my dc in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 7th. My only caution would be that the Rome DVD has some more intense parts...only a few, though. You just might want to preview it. :)
