LG Gone Wild
I love different flavored brownies and I have a couple of boxes of strawberry cake. Can I transform it into brownies, you know, like blondies but pink?

mirth
Possibly. The mix already has baking powder in it which activates with moisture and acid. So mix it and let the wet mixture hang out at room temp until there are few little bubbles rising anymore. I would also add 1 more egg and more oil than the recipe calls for. (If you leave it for a long time like a day, the result will be bricklike)
Amber in SJ
I use this recipe to turn cake mix into chewy bar cookies like blondies 1 pkg cake mix 1/4 c lightly packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1/2 c melted butter or margarine (I don't know how to spell that) 1 tsp vanilla Preheat oven to 350 Mix all ingredients together. With a mixer beat on low for one minute, scrape bowl and beat one minute more. Spread in a greased 9X13 pan Bake 25-30 minutes until set & a tester comes out clean Let cool 30-45 minutes and cut into bars Our favorite is yellow cake mix sprinkled with chocolate chips and salted cashews before baking. Let me know how this works for you. Amber in SJ
