Homemama2
I trying to decide which to do for my 3rd grader next year. Opinions?? I'm not worried about whether my kids can read Homer in Latin or whatever. Just want to teach it bc it stretches their minds and for the vocab aspect. Should I bother with more than the roots? Haiku
I'm not worried about whether my kids can read Homer in Latin or whatever. Well that's good, considering that Homer was Greek. ;) Tara
Lorax
We are doing our second year of Lively Latin this year. I have to say, not only is it great for vocabulary, it is absolutely fantastic for teaching and understanding grammar. I'm so glad that we decided to go with a whole program. It is very gentle. I knew no Latin when we started it, we are going at a very slow pace and enjoying it! I don't have the experience to comment on using just roots.
