Legomom
I would like to try teaching French to my kids just for fun. Nothing serious, but just to learn to pronounce things and have some beginning words. We are already doing Latin and Spanish. Any suggestions for a program for 9 year olds? oakmom
I haven't used it but Coffee Break French seems like a fun way to get your feet wet.

Liza Q
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0071407677/ref=ox_ya_oh_product My 11yo used German for children last year and we were very happy with it. My 9yo is using this French one right now.
Legomom
This looks like it will fit well for us. Thanks for the suggestion--we are going give it try!
busyrobin
Sometimes it's fun to watch a DVD but change the language to have French dialogue. My children have found this very amusing. While it wouldn't 'teach' that much, it might be a fun way of listening to pronunciation... Emily.
