CatMomof3
My dd is about to finish Singapore 2B, she is doing awesome. I got Singapore 3 and it seems more intense and abstract then 2B. I don't think she is ready for it (she is turning 7 at the end of November). What would you recommend that would as a "bridge" between the two programs. I think I only need something for a few months. Thanks everyone
NancyNellen
How about the Singapore Intensive or Extra Practice books? They would probably fit the bill for a short time.
Karen in CO
BJU3 just the workbook. It covers roughly the same material that is covered at the end of Singapore2 in a different way and covers some different topics such as more emphasis on time & money & measurement. It will help to give more practice with the addition & subtraction plus will cover the easy multiplication and division to help cement them more. I wouldn't try to work all the way through it, just a few chapters until you feel the maturity is there for the more abstract Singapore3. then you could save the rest of the workbook to use the chapters in case you need a break from Singapore later on.
