mcmom4
I am hoping to get one for my 10dd for Christmas, but don't want an extremely cheap one, unless they are still really good. And I want the kind that we can slide sheet music into. Any suggestions??
Spy Car
We have one of the Music Maker lap harps, which I believe are the most commercially available brand and have a great number of sheets one can order to make playing it simple. I like the tone, but imagine there may be more handcrafted options out there. The one "problem" for me is that the harp comes out of tune really easily. So a good tuning wrench (the one that comes with it is rinky-dink) AND an electronic tuner (my ear is not good enough) were necessary additions for this instrument to sound good. But doubled the investment. Still they are a lot of fun, sound good, and bring the joy of playing music to even those who (like me) are inept musicians.
