Colleen in NS Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Anyone else new to this and want to discuss/read it with me? Do you mean actually discuss TWEM itself, or the books listed in it? I haven't gotten too far with the book list yet, but I'd be willing to chat about TWEM. Quote
Excelsior! Academy Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 TWEM itself. I also would enjoy having someone else reading from the list(s) at the same time. I need the dialog and accountability. KWIM? I'm currently on chapter 5, but I did my reading at the park while watching my kiddos play. No telling how much I retained. :D Quote
Nan in Mass Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 very slowly, aloud, and not in the order in the book. We're using the method, modified to fit us. It has been fantastic. I'm willing to discuss the books, but I have a bad memory and if I'm not currently reading something, it might be difficult. When I'm not homeschooling anymore, I'd love to do this with someone GRIN, like in a few years from now. -Nan Quote

I've read the beginning parts of TWEM, plus most of the "how to read a novel" section. I also took some notes on TWEM, according to TWEM's instructions. Quote
