JWSJ
I picked up Explode The Code book 7 recently. Never used any of the series before. Book 7 fits my ds6 just fine. But I was wondering how do you know the book match for your child? And what do others goto after Explode The Code?
Karenciavo
I say the level depends on your child's decoding skills. My ds 5 is on level 3, although I'm sure he could do level 4 or 5, we are going to go through the series. There is a level 8. After we finish I will just stick with my phonics based spelling program. If he is struggling in decoding skills than it is best to move back a few books to make sure he knows the material. We moved straight to spelling after ETC. ArwenA
If the book is working then stick with it. D 6 is doing book 1 and DD 3 is on book B. After level 8 I think they will follow in older sisters footsteps and do SWO.
