8filltheheart Posted March 11, 2008 Share Posted March 11, 2008 Explorers is a pretty basic series. You really don't need anything to "prepare" for them. My kids have never used textbooks for science and my 6th and 8th graders are reading through several right now. A lot of it is simply review to them from books they have read in the past.
