Wrote with light pink crayon on a brand new ottoman that is in cotton fabric--light-colored~~! I was beside myself! After first panicking, I looked online and found that I should iron it with a cloth on top..but it didn't work. Then I saw that I should scrub it with some baking soda. Well, there is good news and bad news. The good news is that the baking soda took the crayon mark away. The bad news is that now I have a big circle where the baking soda is, and it now looks even worse! What do I do now??? Very sad..... adams101 Posted August 12, 2009 Share Posted August 12, 2009 Maybe rinse it some more to make sure you got it all out. Do you have a carpet scrubber you could use on it? No chemicals, just water to help rinse it out. Or maybe a wet/dry vac and a spray bottle or water. Spray it, then vacuum it to suck the water back out.
