s/o of thread on preferred method of writing

Recommended Posts

What all writing programs out there use the "model" method (such as Classical Writing)? I think that is the method I'm leaning toward, but I don't know what all is available.

Is R&S more of the TOG/SL-style? That is what grammar we are using this year, and at this point I was planning to use their writing, but as I said, I really am more of a "model" fan.

Here's a list of the imitative writing programs I'm aware of:

Imitation In Writing - Logos School

IEW - the early units of the 9 in IEW are imitative

Classical Writing

Writing Tales uses this technique to a degree

The R&S writing assignments are not imitative. They use a traditional approach.
