*********
It's spiral. And we've used it from the beginning, and LOVE it. I will use it untll, um, I dunnno. My oldest is just 6, but he LOVES math, and is getting ready to start 3rd grade math in CLE. It works great for us. I tried to switch to Singapore. I even bought the books. I even loved the books. :001_smile: But I just couldn't switch him, since CLE is going so good, and he just absolutely LOVES math. But, I'm worrying about what to switch him into for the higher levels. Of course, we've got years to worry about that... But why wait when I can worry now! :)

G5052
It's been compared to Saxon, but has workbooks all the way through.
skaterbabs
It's very gentle at the beginning, but it introduces topics really early. For example, lesson 10 of the 100 series introduces place value; lesson 32 introduces congruent shapes, etc.
