tricia
Is there anyway I can "add" a photo shot of one person somehow into a group photo of lots of people? We have a family photo of everyone of our children except for one and we would love to "add" her. Anyone???? Thanks in advance
ChristusG
I'm a photographer who does a lot of photo editing as well. It can be done depending on the photos. It all depends on the backgrounds and how hard it is to extract that person out of one background and put them onto another. If you want to post the photos, or email them to me, I can take a look at them and see if it is do-able with those two photos. Crissy
I suggest that you try to get the lighting in the image of the individual as similar to the group shot as possible. Having a the main image shot indoors and trying to add a person who was photographed in strong sunlight, for example, makes the job difficult, and the results poor. hi_itsgwen
I combine photos all the time in my work, and I agree with Crissy...it's all about the lighting. There are so many variables in lighting including color, intensity and direction, and the eye will pick up subtle differences. It can be done, but lighting is usually the toughest aspect. For best results in my portraits, I request that photos come from the same photo shoot.
