my three-ring binders are falling apart

Is there such a thing as an attractive, sturdy binder? I have the kind with the clear plastic pocket thingy that you can put pictures in, and plastic is cracking and the covers are coming right off. Annoying.

 

I looked at the recycled ones at Office Depot, but they sure seem awfully expensive. Does a store like that ever offer coupons?

 

What binders do you like? Generally I prefer my Circas, but there are a few things that I do need to put into three ring binders.

Any kind of binder I have ever bought has eventually fallen apart. Let me know if you find an indestructible one ;)

Oh, no! I bought mine at the Goodwill, and I assumed that because plastic gets brittle as it ages, that was the problem. You sayin' they will all do that anyway, eventually?! Nuts!

I bought the Staples brand binders for my kids three years ago, and they are still holding up great :) There is an outside pocket, and the inside pocket has had to be taped in, but the corners have not even started to crack. And I have one three ring binder with dividers for each subject for each kid so they are used on a daily basis. They are more expensive, but definitely worth it.
