Elizabeth Slagle
I have a fidgety boy with the attention span of a flea, but very bright, tactile (a real mover) and auditory. What Grammar and Language Arts program will work best for him? He did well with Saxon Math, but that may be because dad taught it (dad is visual and rigid and comfortable with math). My son is dramatic, moves a LOT, sings, fidgets and smart. Help? I have looked at SO many... and again, I need grammar AND language arts. Can anyone give me direction? mom2abcd
It sounds like Winston Grammar may be a good fit. You can see it at cbd.com.
Cedarmom
Winston Grammar is hands on. Each grammar part of the sentence has a color and the student puts them under their correct spot (noun, verb, etc) It worked very well for my son. He was an active, non-wrokbooking type kid. We supplemented with a school house rock computer game, not sure if it's still out there, but it was very fun. We also did mad-libs.

Elizabeth Slagle
Isn't Shurly intensive, worksheet related?

SonshineLearner
I know you can do quite a bit of Shurley orally and also it has jingles that you can do with all of your children together...for the sentence structures and also for the grammar of English...(noun, verb...etc..)
