Soph the vet Posted June 24, 2009 Share Posted June 24, 2009 If you have time to read HR2454 the Waxman-Markey Energy Bill you can try to do that (932 pages) before calling. I'm on page 50 (that only took 20 minutes...no I am not the speed reader they hired:lol:) I keep hearing this bill is going to be crammed through the House on Friday. Heritage.org has a lot of info on this including percentages of increases in our energy bills over the next decade if we let them pass this wildly irresponsible legislation based on what is proving to be more and more junk science. (That is my opinion based on what I read and know and I'm not debating that here) If this fries you like it does me then call your Representative now. The powers that be are trying to distract us with the healthcare reform debate, but cap and trade is already written and about to become law unless we speak out against it.
