HappyGrace
This would be for the edition just before the new one that just came out. I thought I remembered reading they needed to have a certain math level first? Thanks!

elfgivas
i'm not sure what you're asking, but i have one dc in 4B now. she has done singapore since the beginning. while it does presuppose that they know their math facts, for example, i would guess they could do it if they didn't; it would just take longer and be more frustrating. they do a brief introduction/review (very brief) at the beginning of a section. it isn't labelled as such, but the questions appear designed to remind the students of what they have already learned. the teacher's guide is helpful with that. so if they encounter something they have never seen before, you could stop and do the background work on it? is there something in particular that you are concerned about? ann
KAR120C
But if I remember correctly, there is a little bit... and they would assume that the kid is in Singapore Primary Math 4 at the same time. Hope this helps!
