US History online resource help!

We are doing a unit on US history at the moment in preperation for our holiday over there. Both boys are working on the Pilgrims and Wampanoag of Plimouth Plantation. I have lots of books for the boys for our history unit but nothing for M. I cant justify purchasing books for a 2 week unit; particularly given they will take at least a week to arrive.

Can anyone suggest online resources about the Mayflower and Plimouth colony suitable for a 5yo? I've spent 3 days searching for appropriate stuff for the boys and the thought of starting again for M is not a pleasant one.... I'm hoping people might have something bookmarked that may be suitable.

Thanks in advance :)

Go to the Baldwin project site (below) and scroll down until you see The Story of the Pilgrims by Margaret B. Pumphrey. Here the entire book will be online. It is written for ages 6 - 10. There are also many other American History titles at this site. http://www.mainlesson.com/displaybooksbytitle.php

Here are a few sources for Pilgrim coloring pages. Although if you Google "Pilgrim or Mayflower" coloring pages, you will find quite a bit quickly.

Do you have the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving DVD laying around? The 2nd half of that DVD is all about the Mayflower and how the Pilgrims survived. It's wonderful! Your 5 year old will love it. If you don't have it, maybe you can borrow it from a friend or rent it from Netflix/Library?

I have some under "Thanksgiving" on my del.ic.ious site, but I think these two would be interactive for your guys:

Scholastic The First Thanksgiving

You are the Historian The First Thanksgiving

These are, clearly, Mayflower/Pilgrim/Wamponoag resources.

HTH!

Thanks so much!

Wonderful :) I really appreciate it.

Nope. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving, and being in Australia we don't have Netflix and the Library is almost devoid of anything on the USA baring the basics in the history section, but nothing for kids as young as M. But thank you for the suggestion, I'll take a look at youtube and see if anyone has put it there :)
