Kelly on the prairie
I am at Amazon this morning trying to figure out what all I need to use Lial's Basic College Math next year with an eighth grader. Do I need a student text, a teacher text and a lab or is the student text and lab all I need? Are the tests included in the student text? Pamela H in Texas
We used ONLY the student text. Yes, tests are in there :)
Jean in Wisc
I am at Amazon this morning trying to figure out what all I need to use Lial's Basic College Math next year with an eighth grader. Do I need a student text, a teacher text and a lab or is the student text and lab all I need? Are the tests included in the student text? All I have is the student book. Buy the paperback--it has the practice problems in the sidebar. There are answers to the odd (or even?) problems in the back of the book--this was good enough for all 3 of my kids since there are a TON of practice problems. There are tests included in the book. Mad Jenny Flint
but the books also include chapter reviews before the test, and a full review after the test of all chapters to that point. You can also buy a solutions manual. For BCM I did not need it, but for Intro. Algebra it has been a lifesaver. :)
