    "Can't Miss" books for American History - grades 3, 4, 5? I find that the ones that the Public Schools use are best. They're REALLY big and make great "hard to miss" targets for practice. Plus you can get them for next to nothing from the book depository. Win-win!! :thumbup:

    Those with students in college--how do you handle allowances/spending? Simple. I don't tell them anything. And if they ask where their allowance is, I tell them we were robbed.
