  1. For the bedroom, your bed is the focal point. It should be the first thing one sees when they enter the room.

You may not be able to watch HGTV but they have a lot of info online. For family pictures, You can pick a wall. Keep it uniform by the frames. Same color, style etc. For living areas, things should be grouped to provide conversation. Think U shapes. As for the neutral, you can add color through accessories. Pillows, throws, lamp shades, artwork, and window treatments.

  2. The thought of owning two houses . . . two mortgages . . .

This has been a great time of year, in our experience at least, to get a good offer on a house. Hope you sell quickly and can really enjoy getting settled in your new home.

Are you moving away from NC, or just to a different house?

Luckily dh's employer will pay the lesser of the two mortgages. That is a huge blessing!

We are moving away! I wish we weren't since they are putting all sorts of fun stuff around us. Ikea would have been 10 min. away. And supposedly there is a water park going in somwhere close by. Oh well, at least we will be an hour from Myrtle so that is a plus. It would have been nice to move to a different part of our neighborhood like everyone else here does.

  3. Great news! If you are a fan of the revolutionary children's show "Liberty's Kids" and would like to see it back on the air, now is your chance! I'm pleased to report that beginning this Wednesday February 27, The History Channel will

air episodes of "Liberty's Kids" on Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 7:30 am and

Saturday 7:00 am to 8:00 am. I received this information from Kevin

O'Donnell, co-producer of "Liberty's Kids." He says The History Channel is

worried that a cartoon will fail on their network, so that's why this is

only a test marketing of the show.

IMPORTANT! The History Channel needs to know this is the kind of programming that we as parents want for our children. So tune in and watch, then contact The History Channel via their Help Desk at http://www.history.com/global/feedback/index.jsp?NetwCode=THC

and tell them how much you and/or your children enjoy the program. If the

show does well, the producers are prepared to create more programs

highlighting other historical eras in American History. Imagine how much fun

it would be to watch the same type of educational animated series about

other periods of our nation's history like the Civil War or the Oregon

    Trail.

Just wanted to pass this along!

  4. It's only 9:00 and I am done for the day.

At 8:30 the moving company came over to look at the house to give us an estimate for our move. Well, the man was ~65? Anyway, I have an almost 3 year old who had just woken up, and was hungry. The man was trying to go over his list of do's and don'ts. While trying to go over his list my little one is screamimg, starts smacking my 6 yr old, and my 10 yr old was doing his best to keep the peace.

The man puts his pen down, says that he is just too distracted and leaves. I have never been so humiliated in my life!
