For math, DD uses Essentials B and MUS Primer. We use LOE for reading, any spelling, and handwriting. History is Bede's History Of Me, and I use the Kindergarten Enrichment and Read Aloud Program from Memoria Press.
Not to hijack the thread, but how do you like the Memoria Press' Enrichment? I'm going to start it with my son in January.

We are doing Little Otter's Science - http://www.guesthollow.com/homeschool/science/little_otters_science/little_otters_science.html for my Pre-K and K kids.
We are doing geography by watching a video about families in a different foreign country each week, supplementing with library books, coloring a map and flag of the country, etc. (You can get unit studies for this, but we just do our own plan with library videos/books and free printables I find around the internet). We will probably do a prehistory study this year too before we start SOTW next year.

Maybe something like Mother Goose Time or Learning Box Preschool.

Not DK-style books, but Intellego has some unit studies for economics - http://www.intellegounitstudies.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2_28_32

What types of things are in these? I have never heard of any of this so I'm a bit clueless!
Here's a good explanation of them - http://forums.welltrainedmind.com/topic/492348-mp-just-the-recitation-plans/?p=5270464

Lexi, do you think it's possible to use this curriculum if you believe in an Old Earth perspective?
-
The recitation lesson plans from Memoria Press are what we are using. I bought both the Jr. K and K ones. They are only $3 each - http://www.memoriapress.com/curriculum/classical-core-curriculum/lesson-plans-subject?field_subject_tid=381

The whole series has 12 episodes: http://www.history.com/shows/america-the-story-of-us/episodes
The first link looks like it includes all 12 (according to the description). The second one only includes six -- which is funny, considering the second one is so much more expensive.

My daughter who is 4 learned D'Nealian in occupational therapy (she has sensory issues -- so a couple days a week has therapy) because the doctor there believes it's best for her.
So far, we haven't had any issues with it but she's not writing the entire alphabet yet.

I think Total Language Plus has literature guides. I've also heard people talking about Smarr Literature Guides and Cadron Creek Literature Guides.
-
In case anyone is interested, I emailed Tanya at Memoria Press and she added the Jr. K recitations onto the site, so that you can order those separately too now.
-
I see that you can order the recitations for just $3 each level http://www.memoriapress.com/curriculum/classical-core-curriculum/lesson-plans-subject?field_subject_tid=381 but I don't see Junior K. Do you know where they'd be listed on the site?

No, that's not it. :( The one I'm looking for is very colorful--no pictures--with stripes of color going across each page. Each page is a 1-week schedule, and there is a light green stripe near the top that has the MOH Chapter & Topic for each day of the week. Below that is a yellow stripe labeled Bible (and under it are the resources for Bible study). Next is a darker green stripe labeled History/Geography (and under it are the assignments for MoH, SotW, Usborne, timeline work, and Diana Waring). Next are blue stripes labeled Readers and Read-Alouds (with books & page numbers scheduled under them). Near the bottom of the grid is a gray stripe labeled Internet, a Purple stripe labeled Movies, and a red stripe labeled Art (with resources listed below them).
I don't think I've ever seen that one -- but I'd like to! Hopefully you can find the source.

This might help - http://ministry-to-children.com/heart-of-worship-lesson/ - I'm not sure if that's what you are looking for.

Check out http://ministry-to-children.com/ It has tons of coloring pages, crafts, activities and bible lessons for kids. Here are some of the ones for preschool age:

It's geared toward Sunday school teachers and homeschoolers.

If you just want worksheets, you can make them here free from handwritingworksheet.com. You just enter the child's name or whatever words and print them.

I think it would be fine without the writing. But if you want to do the writing portion (or try it), Donna Young has made it easy. She created print-outs that go with the lessons. http://www.donnayoung.org/penmanship/manuscript-lessons.htm

I have a son who just turned 5 and an advanced daughter who is newly 4 (plus I have two 3-year-olds). So the 4- and 5-year-olds are going to do K together, and the other two do Pre-K.
For K, I plan to use a lot of read-alouds, OPGTR and Sing, Spell, Read Write (just because they like the song aspect). In January, we might start FLL 1.
We are going to try Saxon Math K or BJU Math K (we have both) and see what works. Then we'll do a lot of art projects. I haven't figure out what we are doing for handwriting.
All four the kids (along with my friend's three kids) will be doing science together one day a week (Elemental Science and nature walks, etc.) plus Bible stories and some easy geography stuff.

So far I really like it...and with the size of our family it runs about the same price as Scholaric. I wish they had a pay by the month deal...
I saw there's a pay by month option now for $6.95 a month that you can cancel anytime.
Has anyone tried Homeschool Minder? Someone recommended it to me too.

That's really great. I like seeing your whole schedule laid out. I'd love to hear how it works out for you this year, because I want to do something similar next school year.
