[Why Tapestry of Grace?]

I use TOG instead of SOTW. You can use SOTW with TOG - it is assigned on the alternate resource page. It seems the most common scenario around here (for TOGers) is to use SOTW 1-4 and then go to TOG for the next two cycles.

 

:iagree: We're finishing up our first year with TOG - Week 34 - we're in the home stretch :001_smile:. I used SOTW 1 with ds6 as scheduled on TOG's alternate resource page. I added in some of the other LG books for him from the primary resource page.

I primarily got TOG for dd10, but it has been easy to bring little brother along for the ride. They have been working on lapbooks together and they can discuss their history together at the dinner table :001_smile:.

We have some issues with the kids in our neighborhood, too. For the first year all was well and we even moved our swingset to the front yard to let everyone play but recently the neighbors dd AND her parents have been nasty so we've moved it all back to the backyard.

 

It's really hard, but the silver lining is that your children are learning lessons. :)
